Daniel E. Cassidy, JD provides legal services to individuals and married couples, including elders and persons with special needs. For the past 15 years, Dan's practice has been focused on estate planning, documentation, and estate administration for a broad range of clients. He is active in legal and professional associations to maintain currency in all aspects of estate planning.

Dan has been an attorney for over 30 years. He provided legal and professional services to entrepreneurial companies, non-profit organizations, and government agencies; was insurance vice president at Marsh & McLennan and Sedgwick Group Limited; adviser on business operations and regulatory matters at AT&T Bell Telephone Laboratories; and legal counsel for the National Space Club. Dan was counsel for the Science and Technology Committee of the U.S. House of Representatives. He served on active duty as a commissioned officer in the United States Air Force.

Dan received the JD degree from Seton Hall University Law School, MS degree in engineering from the University of Southern California and undergraduate degree from New York University. He is licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia, the District of Columbia, and New Jersey, and is a qualified Guardian Ad Litem for incapacitated persons in Virginia. He is a member of the Virginia State Bar Trusts and Estates Section; the District of Columbia Bar Estates and Trust Section; the Fairfax Bar Association Wills, Trusts, and Estates Law Section; the American Bar Association Trust & Estate Law Section; the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys; and the McLean Estate Planning Council.
